During the Phoenix Open tournament, ETC and Complex partnered to provide a free shuttle service using a 6DR golf cart. The cart's original basic golf-themed graphic represented a missed opportunity to maximize brand visibility during this high-profile event.
Recognizing the untapped potential of this mobile branding asset, I proposed a complete redesign while the team was prepared to proceed with the existing basic design.
My role involved leading the creative initiative from concept through execution, transforming what would have been a standard shuttle service into a strategic branding opportunity.
Contributions:
Creative Initiative: Identified and advocated for the redesign opportunity, convincing stakeholders to invest in elevated branding rather than accepting the basic golf-themed graphic.
Strategic Redesign: Reimagined the mobile branding approach, moving beyond generic golf imagery to create a cohesive brand experience that showcased both ETC and Complex during the Phoenix Open tournament.
Partnership Integration: Strategically incorporated our giveaway partnership messaging into the design, creating a unified promotional vehicle that served both brands' objectives at this premium event.
Copywriting: Developed supporting copy that enhanced the visual messaging, ensuring clear communication of the partnership and giveaway opportunity to tournament attendees.
Visual Impact: Created an eye-catching design that transformed the shuttle into a dynamic promotional vehicle capable of generating awareness and engagement among Phoenix Open attendees.
The redesigned wrap received acclaim from both ETC and Complex teams, successfully driving measurable engagement through increased giveaway participation—demonstrating the power of strategic event-based mobile branding and creative advocacy.
